Room 6 News and Upcoming Events

What  a great start to the new school year!  We are going to be so busy this year!  We will learn about Early Humans, Ancient Egypt, and Ancient Greece!  Also, there is lots of science, math, and reading to be done!  Feel free to come by and visit us!

We have left Ancient Egypt and crossed the Mediterranean Sea to Ancient Greece.   The Parthenon has appeared on our classroom mural wall and we are beginning to learn about our next ancient culture!  Did you know that Ancient Greece had over 200 islands?  Lots of coastline to defend!

Whiskeytown Environmental Camp 2011 was a blast!  We missed the snow and we didn’t get rained on until the morning we left and that was more of a drizzle.  Was a little cold so thank goodness the cabins had heaters!  Thank you to the Drivers and Cabin Counselors!  Without them we couldn’t have done this!  A few pictures are posted here and there is a Photo Disc coming home in the next few days with all the pictures on it!

Our Living Wax Museum of Ancient Egypt was a HUGE success!  The costumes were incredible!  Thank you parents for all that work!
