Our Mission
We the Founder’s Group of Nord Country School secured the conversion of
CUSD Nord Elementary School to a recognized independent charter school with the
knowledge, experience, conviction and passion that the rural community of Nord
and its surrounding area is best served by a small community learning environment.
Our mission is to educate students in a small school environment where they are in
close association with caring teachers, staff, parents and community members.
We offer your child:
* A safe, supportive, traditional environment. Each day begins with a flag salute and a patriotic song.
* One on one focused attention and rigorous academic instruction.
* Access to the latest technology – “rural” no longer means “isolated”.
